Seeking Costume Designer
Liars and Believers seeks a Costume Designer for The End is Nigh, our new devised comedy about the end of the world. It will premiere in Boston and then tour. We seek an artist of any gender, race, ability or ethnicity. Under represented artists are strongly encouraged to apply. SHOW DESCRIPTION The End is Nigh is a battle for the soul of our society, between nastiness and compassion. Set in an apocalyptic game show, it pits grotesque buffoon hosts against unsuspecting clowns, with unfortunate humans caught in the middle. The show uses clown, physical comedy, and live music. It is fast-paced and transformative. It has a bold style, marrying low comedy and pathos. It is a flexible touring show that creates large spectacle. We began devising in December 2024. We will continue in a series of workshops from May 2025 through May 2026, followed by the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2026.
